I picked this one up recently for a buck. This is the type of record you tend only to buy when you're beginning digging. Side B is full of great funky soul cuts. Still no fan of "Schoolboy Crush" though.

To me, this is classic mid-90's hip hop. I remember hearing both the 12's from this album on the radio at the time. My favourite is definitely "State to State" featuring Common but stay clear of the Beatnuts remix.

The problem with the Stax one (Motown/Hitsville too) are that they're full of hits that been played to death over the years IMHO so I'm constantly skipping tracks. I'd stick with the mp3 verrsions.

rewire is a Steinberg "interface" between audio applications as far as I know. Your best bet is probably to get a pirate copy of Cubase SX since they're responsible both for VSTi and Rewire.
