I was thinking static also. The VPI isn't cheap but over time it will pay for itself. There have been so many times that I've been able to increase a records grade by giving it a proper cleaning. I got lucky and bought a used VPI for $350 on Audio…

Huge want arrived in the mail this week. This isn't something you can easily find in the wild due to it being a library record so it has to be a mailbox find for me.
