I wanted to watch To Live and Die in LA and found it wasn't streaming anywhere yesterday. Today I stopped by one of the shops in town and they had just gotten a used copy in shortly before I showed up and were playing it on the TV. Now it's mine.

Now that the family and attorneys are aware of the tapes I don't think this is going to go they way they want it to.

I went on a week long trip driving Texas Route 67 across Texas from Texarkana to Presidio with a bunch of VW friends. I didn't have much time to dig for records but was able to stop a couple times in thrift stores. These are the highlights.

Chris, going through all of this has got to be one of the toughest things I can imagine. I applaud your dad for fighting the good fight and having a positive mental attitude though it all. Much love to you and your family.

As much as I love Prince I don't think the album is that great. It is a piece of Prince history but I'm not paying (now nearly $20k) for it.

It's been a good run Raj. With so many social media options most of the forums have all died off one by one. Thanks for keeping SoulStrut running as long you have. I've made a lot of friends here also that I still talk to regularly. Hope to see you …

I hadn't seen the demo version. I think I still like the Apollonia 6 version better.

Some highlights from the recent 45 record haul. Nothing too raer but there were some solid soul, boogie, soul, rockabilly, and garage/fuzz records.

I'm a tech guy. I've been doing a huge server migration and putting in 12 hour days for the past few months. When I'm not doing that I'm processing records and getting ready for the next Austin Record Convention. I'll post some of the 45 finds lat…

Yesterday I bought around 5700 records. 3600 45s and 2100 LPs. It's mostly old country, classic rock, and 70s pop. I haven't had a chance to dig through it all yet. I'm excited to dig through the 45s. I have a feeling I am going to find some rare ro…

"Aspring Answer" on that Didier Lockwood has some moody breaks on it.

I think Raj has been more focused on doing stuff with his band than doing live streams.

Most of my finds are "mailbox finds" these days.

96 is a good run. I hope to make it that long or longer.
