Well, I guess it is "google-able" now! Yeah, that is cheap, but I don't think anyone knows about it...until now.

Maybe this is googleable but I don't know Russian and can't read the Cyrillic letters. All I know is that it's on the Soviet state-owned label, Melodiya. Not my usual sort of thing but for $1 I bought it for the cover alone. The song I've posted here, the first one on side 2, is by far the best/most interesting. Can anyone who knows Russian perhaps shed some light on this one?

OK...another one that's mystified me for awhile. Thinking Of My Baby/Coffee Grinder by Earl Daye & Sensations on Daye Records. Label has that homemade/private press look with a South Norwalk, CT address. The A-side isn't spectacular with vocals that don't stay in key but the instrumental organ groove on side B (posted below) is pretty cool. Sounds mid-60s to me. Anybody know anything about this one?

Thank you for the reply...the other day I eventually figured out who they were by using Google image search and turning up that same EP cover. Just been traveling a lot for work + down with the flu last weekend + this thread has been messed up so I haven't had a chance to write in until now. I guess they were "state sanctioned," but I never woulda guessed since they sound pretty far out. Anything else by them worth checking?
