Unpublished Book on BBoy Records

Has anyone heard about this or read it? its a 50 page pdf from chill bill - the founder of the label. Full of crazy shit like him producing traci lords porn flicks while he was setting the label up etc. I got my greasy mitts on a copy. Its kinda hard to read - but full of anecdotes as you can imagine.

Details the way Scott La Rock passed away among other things.
I remember when Scott La Rock got killed???now that was a waste of a good life??? but I do
Believe Scott knew he was going to die???it went down like this??? as per D. Nice???. He was
Up this girl's house an ex he was clocking once again??? but her regular boy friend came home
And found D.Nice there and he beat him up??? then he said he was going to call his friends on
Him/// the dude gave D the phone, call him he said call your guy now??? so D called Scott
And Scott told him they where on the way??? Scott had Mc Boo Ds cousin and Robo Cop
All 3 where in a jeep???they get to the house and robo cop almost kills the guy???. Then they
Leave the building and sit there in front of the building ???. To this day no one knows why they
Didn???t pull away??? but they stayed there ???and a hale of bullets came out from the front door
And also from the Roof ???Scott got hit 2 times once from above and once from the side???.
He was declared Brain Dead by the Time he was taken to the Hospital???.
And the Police investigated everyone???.I took it very hard, I said if he was a nobody would he
Be alive right now???

Rolling up on DJs
Now I have a reputation of rolling up on People??? and we did, we had to??? there where to many
Local Jocks who had just ignored B.Boy Records???. And we would roll up on them to do an eye
To eye meeting WHY THE HELL AINT YOU PLAYING our Music
We did that to Chuck Chill out and DNA to??? also Fred Bugs PD for WBLS??? and there was an
Incident that was in reverse??? some one did a diss against BDP put it on a Tape and sent it to
P Fine ??? and he was playing??? so we rolled up on him and told him, if he plays that fucking
Tape 1 more time???the whole Zulu Nation will be waiting for him when he goes home???.
Needless the tape was never played again???.
Scott was always with me when I did these things???.once he said to me, before we released the
South Bronx??? Curtis Blow's people had a New LP on him and on it was a Rap about the SOUTH
BRONX to??? so he sent word for us to hold up on ours till his was in the Market place so
Scott said to me what should we do???. Mercury is a big Label???. I said fuck them we go as we
Planned??? he said your cool bill a real Sway Daddy???.
Another Group pulled back its New Release once Criminal Minded hit the streets??? that was
Run D Mc??? they pulled there's back to get harder to stand next to ours???.

    BBOY RECORDS BOOK

    Thought I'd pass this along as its undoubtedly something that few people in the world even know about. I was a grassroots Midwestern Rep for the Bronx label B Boy Records and my first appearance on wax was a remix i did for Boogie Down Prods. anyhow the late Bill Kamara who was one of the founders of B Boy Records (and quite a unique character) contacted me in 2003 and sent me a "book" he was working on regarding the history of B Boy Records. It never got published and he sent me a copy to see what I thought. I found it the other day amongst some vinyl and figured maybe he would have wanted people who cared to see this work in progress and to my knowledge no one has seen or even know this exists. So here it is if anyone cares

    be warned there is some X-Rated language as Bill once ran a porn company at B Boy Records as well (although all seemed business as usual when I was in the South Bronx offices in 1987) - Freddy Fresh

    ^^ good eye man, i even took this to my "test lappy" to download and theres to much sketchy shit going on on that site (like 7 links with the word download written on it) lol...on some which witch is which?

    the links are appreciated once i can figure out which link to click..lol

    Curious what yall find so offensive.

    I've tried downloading the file numerous times over the course of the evening (it keeps telling me "the free service is at full capacity") but I can't figure out what is so dangerous - I'm sure it has the usual fake links that any download site has but I didn't pay attention, is that what is so concerning?

    I already tried to find another site to d/l this but couldn't, so if there is one please to poast.

    I used the link the original uploader used, its the second button that says click here to start download from sendspace.
    But im sure the second link posted in thread works too.

    I guess it was just a busy night for sendspace (could be due to all the shakeup in their industry recently?), the same link that was giving me the 'too busy' response worked fine this morning.

    Thanks for the link, this is a rather bizarre document though.
