BBQ Sauce - watcha got?
edited January 2012
It's hot. We are BBQing every damn night and it pains me to admit but my BBQ sauce game is :weaksauce:
What's your go to? Who got the secret squirrel recipes? Madam Jeanette vs. Birdseye? Soy sauce Yay or Nay?
this the original, the hot is the one to get, but both are top-shelf
This one is vinegary -- it's damn good on smoked pork shoulder.
2 cups cider vinegar
2 tablespoons worchestershire
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar, or more to taste
2 teaspoons hot red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
salt to taste
You want BBQ sauce? Get the fuck out of my house.
NC vinegar style is my fav. We have family there that mails us jugs of pig pickin sauce from Clear Run Farms in Harrel, NC. Good stuff if you like tangy.
"a distraction from my main thesis."
homade habenero hot sauce
heat & blend & slather
i did a crockpot pork shoulder
loads of oignons/garlic in a pork bone broth + tandoori+ maple syrup+chipotle+stout beer
some cooking liquid, all the veg/peppers +worchestire, ketchup, some diana sauce+apple cider vinegar+fresh grapefruit juice
blend and strain and you've got homemade BBQ sauce
Gotta rep for my homie...Him and his dad have just started bottling and selling their family recipe sauce.
It's damn good stuff and they even let me print all their shirts.
