i'm currently doing an MA in Graphic Design, and my main project is to be centred around communicating ideas of scale and space

soooo....

i thought i'd listen to lots of space themed music while i work

and i figured this might be a good place to ask for some more!

plaese to hip me to spacebeatraer (and not so raer)

    these seem like "outer-space" themed songs, which is cool but if you are into aural space, ie. effective uses of pauses, stops, etc.. check out ahmad jamal stuff or some lonely miles davis stuff from the 60's

    i never really thought about letting the music inform my work in that way

    awesome, i havent listened to Ahmad Jamal in a while - gonna go dig out those LPs right now!

    Great call on the Space Dimension Controller. I would add Jeff Mills' work. Any of his stuff that seems to be concepts based on space, aliens, and space aliens.

    Our ish like this that sounds like satellites singing....
