Cosign on The Dark Knight -- my favorite scene in the whole movie and filmed a block from my work

A couple personal favorites, both of which are pretty macabre:

--Zodiac, a murder to the tune of Three Dog Night's "Easy to be Hard"
--Munich, the setpiece of the hostage situation at the '72 Olympics

    Apocalypse Now.

The comment on the opening scene of the one movie having no dialogue reminded me of WALL-E. I like the whole first part of that movie with no dialogue.

Definite co-sign though I think the music is what makes this completely work more so than anything else.

And co-sign on "Belly" (for the same reason. Cinematically, it's a ridiculously pretentious scene but hey, Hype Williams).

Perhaps too obvious but the first 30 seconds of "Star Wars" (after the credit scroll) were some paradigm-shifting shit.

Serious WTF moment first time I saw that.
That new Drive movie has a great opening scene too.
