I like the Martinho Da Vila LP pictured about 4 down which i grabbed after a scoring about 30 brazilian records from a thrift store. The Benito Di Paula closer to the middle was weak musically and i flipped it for a few dollars. When i researched the Da vila it was available on ebay around the 10 dollar mark.

Did you happen to get an LP called Assim Na Terra Como No Ceu? There are some hot tracks on that LP and it's from the same era I believe...

Unfortunatly no "Assim Na...". But a bunch more Martinho Da Vila Lps.

    Lovely stuff, isn't it?

Is the classified section a good place to sell brazilian records? I'm thinking about doing a big setsale on 300-400 brazilan records.
But the amount of wor involved in making pictures, grading and pricing is giving me a major headache.
Are pictures essential? Would anyone be interested?

i think it would be very successful

pictures are not essential but would really help you move things
i for one will be looking to your sale
    make a sale here
    see what happens
then divide the rest between ebay/gemm and your local shop

There would be interest for sure but:

    - Realistically, there aren't 300, much less 400 Brasilian records that you could sell here, so I would do a little more research before posting. I find a lot of Brasilian records, even decent ones like 70's Nara Leao, to be pretty unsellable.

    - Take photos, but you can do 4-6 records per photo.

    - Do 20/30 records at a time, it's easier for you and the buyer.

sounds reasonable. But I thought a bigger setsale list would be an advantage because people can buy more at once and save on shipping. No?

You're definitely right there. If you're willing to do it go for it.

This one is awesome as well:

great record! Tropicalia dude Rogerio Duprat on the arrangements. Did he do other notable prog-y work?

The last two Mutantes definitely have some prog influences. He also worked on some earlier Terco records.

he has a great KPM record, but it's more soundtracky than prog.

    THIS
if you have a list it could be okay and post only the bigger ticket stuff
this is a genre where i would love to just get a box of 20-30 titles
for example i would take all the nara leao
    you could go for a rockadelicesque 5$ each 5 for 20, 10$ each 5 for 40$, etc...

In the making at the moment. Is there a way to prepare the formating (html stuff) offline, so that I just can copy and paste it in the classified section when I'm finished?

The second part of your set sale (records without prices) is only showing URLs, not the pictures.

Yes I know, but I don't know how to fix it. I already emailed Raj because of this. I hope he can fix it asap.
