    this track has gotta be up there for funkiest white boy consideration. early hard funk biting james. even trying to mug like him on the 45 label.

    i hear that. i'm hearing james at times and the groove is definitely james inspired but you're right the vocal delivery. it is way more wilson pickett influenced.

    I wish I could find a clip from the Hair documentary where Galt says, "I like funky music". I think Galt is very funky.

    James Brown had just put on the most amazing show leaving the audience exhausted and confused, and then the Stones, who had yet to write any of their best songs yet, came out and did an electrifying set.
