Hit me with some cafe music

I'm putting together a bunch of mixes for my lady to play at the cafe she works at. It's a cool spot and the owners are into indie rock, but they're also South American and the menu and atmosphere have a bit of a Latin vibe. I figure it's a slow day, so hit me with some recommendations!

I'm starting to realize that mid-tempo indie rock/Latin/beats (not too upbeat or downbeat and not to edgy or downer) is a bit of a tricky bill to fill. Not exactly my DJing or personal taste wheelhouse.

For example, some stuff I've picked for the alter rock-leaning disc so far:

Velvet Underground - She's My Best Friend
David Bowie - Here Comes the Night
Johnny Thunders - (She's So) Untouchable
Brian Eno - Cindy Tells Me
The Clash - Spanish Bombs

I'm also pulling stuff for a Latin rock disc, a downtempo/midtempo disc, and a soul disc. Holleur!
