    Coltrane had several songs with his name in them: Blue Train, Trane-ing in, Trane's Slow Blues, etc. He also had about 2 dozen tribute songs written about him as well.

    There are a lot of jazz guys that did this though. Miles: Milestones, Miles Runs the Voodoo Down. Joe Henderson: Mode for Joe. Grant Green: California Green, A Wee Bit 'O Green. Sonny Rollins: Sonnymoon for Two. etc. etc. etc.
