    i remember on new years day when mtv debuted Cali love.
    We were hung the fuck over and blown away by that video.

    That article is confusing two different incidents. Dude is comfessing to robbing and shooting Tupac at the recording studio in NYC--the incident Tupac later said was a setup masterminded by Biggie and/or Puffy. (Which then precipitated the east coast/west coast thing, which ended with both Tupac and Biggie getting killed, which is why stupid sensationalism says this guy is confessing to a role in Tupac's murder because he set off the whole chain reaction, blah blah blah.)

    ah I get it; he played a "role" in the eventual murder.

    pretty weak causal analysis, but okay.

    it took me years to come around on this joint.

    even as a dre/roger/pac fan, I thought it was annoying for the longest.

    My initial feeling was " WTF - they used Woman to Woman?...how dare they touch that shit after Ultra!"
