Don't care what it may be worth. It's a solid listen from start to finish.

Solid cosign. I don't see it around as often as I used to, but when it does show up, it's still cheap. Which is kinda reassuring, in a way.

true that one seems to get picked up on a bit but what about "the sound of Paul Horn" - amazing track "Mirage for Miles" that rarely seems to get appreciated

I recently discovered his music because I picked up his Lp 'Cycles'. Deep and beautiful. There is a tribute track for Ravi Shankar on it called 'Shadows'. Simply amazing.

    Ramsey Lewis Another Voyage
anything by John Handy in the 60's
Charles Sullivan and Hadley Caliman are big time under rated too.

Based strictly on the quality of the music, of course.

Agree with this one. For some reason people seem more aware (and appreciative?) of his "Lord of the Rings" LP.

Also love "Torremolinos" from that Randy Master's LP mentioned above.

Blue Oyster Cult "tyranny and mutation"
dunno if it should be worth more per se, it is, afterall an easy to find major label rock lp, but it should be regarded as one of the greatest rock lps of all time, if not THE greatest. But alas, it isn't.

I got this in a trade recently and indeed, such a great album! From the beginning to the end, not a dull track on it.

Early, pre-"Reaper" BOC was great. But I'd choose the self-titled debut or Secret Treaties first. For me, Tyranny & Mutation starts out strong, but comes up lame on Side 2.

Does Seger have any other albums that match up to this? I mean, he couldn't have gone from this RIGHT into "Like A Rock" steez

    Check ''Noah" Dan.

  • If you are at all a Nilsson fan, there is no reason not to be a fan of this record.

Never seen it go for any more than 10 bones. Solid album even if you don't count "THE BRAEK"
