    I caught a little bit of this, and there's definitely something about Herman Cain. He's a good speaker, and seems to have a knack for boiling complex issues down to the simplest "fuck yeah" soundbites. He can also make a convincing claim to being an outsider, since he's never held elected office.

    So he's got no baggage, no record, he gets people fired up, and I'm already starting to see teabaggers dropping his name as "proof" they're not racist, usually right after they say some incredibly foul shit..

    One thing's for sure: this is gonna be a long-ass 18 months...

    How many of these Republican informercials are there gonna be between now and the convention? At least last time there were debates coming from both sides and you could hear where each party was coming from. People eat these things up and it hardly seems fair to give the right-wing huge chunks of free air time to relentlessly bash the Obama administration without providing any equitable way for the said administration to defend itself.
