    These are just the first 5 in my current "roller disco" crate. There's no way I could ever pick a top 5. There's way too much good shit.

    i'm too young and too european to have any real idea... although i recall moodymann putting on a roller disco thing in london a while back ().

    Funk/soul/r&b/pop/rock/disco that has certain feel to it.

    U could play most shit at the rink, but certain songs just FIT the steez.

    been strongly considering renting out a roller rink for my birthday in february and throwing a balls to the wall, wheels to the wood, hands to the sky rollerboogie jam for the ages.....

    ....i just would want to get my skate on, and not have to dj. do i lose credibility if i make a playlist in advance and just let the mp3 ride out? is the only option to hire a dj?

    plaesease to describe tried and tested rollerskate-iquette.

    a friend and i have been going back and forth with trying to start a 'night'... but we figured trying a one-off for my birthday would guarantee closer to 50+ .... which would maybe create a market for a quarterly bump, skate and boogie night.


    also, any strutteurs in the greater toronto area around feb. 9th are also cordially invited to said [currently hypothetical] party! special guest dj's?
