Record stores in NYC

I'm taking a day trip to NY tomorrow with a friend, to do some record shopping.

I know there is Good Records, A-1, and Tropicalia in Furs, and they are all in the same general area.

Are there any others around that way? I think it's East Village, right?

    There must be more than 7 record stores in NYC.
    What about that record sale in someone's apt or loft or office I am always getting emails about?

    hahaha he still eludes my spam filter sometimes. crazy old coot with the jazz museum in the UWS? i stopped by his digs five years ago and it was mostly dogschitt. i barely glanced at a $20 jimmy smith and he freaked out because that was in his "ebay pile". copped a couple $2 MPB comps to take the sting out of wasting my lunch hour.
