So I was working out of this guys studio the other day, and his record collection made me weep;

European, South American and Asian psych break rarities all over the place. Plus the small matter of a vintage Neve recording console... shit I need to step up MAH GAME

anyway, I snapped this cover of a wicked japanese soundtrack from 1978 with fretless bass and drum breaks all over the place.

Anyone know what it is?

    What he said. Fairly common Japanese record featuring Mickie Yoshino from Godiego on there... kinda hit top dollar (about $80-100 in 2004, now it's like $20).

    Translated it's something like Devil Plays the Flute.

    cool drum break. the rest is ehhhh...

    peace.
