DJ Kid Capri all 45 dj set
This is Capri's set from the other night. Pretty damn sick! I knew a lot of the records played but also, didn't know a lot of 'em so I wanted to see if we can put a track list together here at the strut in order. I'm sure Dante knows them all. Ok, let's go!
1.
2. Persuaders "Love Gonna Pack Up"
3.
4.
5.
6.
and so on....

Clarence Coulter - Ride On
The joint after that is :face_melt:
it's the b-side to the love's theme 45
nice mix!!!
the 28 minute joint after the timeout is mfsb- something for nothing
followed by jake wade searching for soul for a couple seconds.
whats the cover of "song for my father" around the 12 minute mark? ive heard that before
what does it mean that hes drinking white castles??
(followed by dee dee warwick)
The one at 12:30 that sounds like Song For My Father is On The Hill by Oliver Sain.
That's actually Bohannon "Save their Souls"
I also, heard Harry Nillson, The Miracles, Baby Huey, Millie Jackson, Professor & Effiency Experts, Roger & Zapp. This list is almost complete
a static joke. i heart stopngo
i liked when a crackly 45 got thrown on and capri says something like "whoa my bad dont mind that static"
later on he professes his love for noisy vinyl.
20:14 - Chocolate Milk - Action speaks louder than words
23:25 Freddie Henchi - Funky To The Bone
24:53 Zapp - Computer Love
33:20 Soft Touch - Plenty Action
I know you were joking T! Pretty good one at that... "These Old Needles"
K Dope 45 Set
Ok, now for part one of Kenny Dope's set. Awesome stuff from all of these guys that played. I'm only looking for two tracks here. The one at 2:27 before the GRUNT which is basically the same backing track with vocals over it and the track at 5:09 the one right after the GRUNT. Anyone know these?
I think your sadly mistaken but thanks anyway.
Yes that's more like it! Thx
edit: quick search reveals this song was released before the grunt and just begun. isely were the ones being bitten.. now that i listen more closely i can hear that the "grunt" is an out and out rip-off of this tune minus the vox (not that i'm mad about it)..
Thanks for posting this mix up.
