DJ Kid Capri all 45 dj set

This is Capri's set from the other night. Pretty damn sick! I knew a lot of the records played but also, didn't know a lot of 'em so I wanted to see if we can put a track list together here at the strut in order. I'm sure Dante knows them all. Ok, let's go!

1.
2. Persuaders "Love Gonna Pack Up"
3.
4.
5.
6.

and so on....

later on he professes his love for noisy vinyl.

    K Dope 45 Set

Ok, now for part one of Kenny Dope's set. Awesome stuff from all of these guys that played. I'm only looking for two tracks here. The one at 2:27 before the GRUNT which is basically the same backing track with vocals over it and the track at 5:09 the one right after the GRUNT. Anyone know these?

  • i think the track before the grunt is the isley bros. "get into something".

I think your sadly mistaken but thanks anyway.

  • i change my answer--- i think it is "keep on doin" from the isley's "get into something " album. exact same horn riff as in the grunt. check it out...

Yes that's more like it! Thx

  • cool. i remember listening to this track last week and thinking: this song incorporates very characteristic horn riffs from both "the grunt" and jimmy castor's "just begun".

edit: quick search reveals this song was released before the grunt and just begun. isely were the ones being bitten.. now that i listen more closely i can hear that the "grunt" is an out and out rip-off of this tune minus the vox (not that i'm mad about it)..
