Has the FOX echo chamber picked up on this? The NBPP meme was probably starting to get stale, so the new "??Repp-are-ashuns!" meme should now pick up the hate-slack.

So let me get this straight. Lawsuits are brought against the government. The government offers to settle. The offer is accepted.
And your great fucking accomplishment for Obama is making good on that settlement offer??
The cave on tax cuts for the rich - something he actually had leverage on - was probably the last straw for me. The Republican president in 2012 will make them permanent. It's not "playing political games" to insist on one's principles and, honestly, do what's best for the Country. Even so, calling Obama "the worst President ever" is gratuitously and recklessly short-sighted. "Most disappointing President in my lifetime" is right on.

I actually do think that is a great accomplishment. Yes. Didn't you tell me a few days back that a plea bargain was nothing but legalized extortion? Same planet, different worlds.
I will tell you what I should have told my brother, when, in the middle of a raucous theological debate, he literally told me that "there are no gray areas. There is only black-and-white."
"Rob, you need some thick smoke and a tape of Game 6 of the most recent Cup Finals."

I'm not seeing the leverage. If he doesn't compromise on the tax cut extension he doesn't get the unemployment extension. Period. And while he may have been able to make some political noise over the Republicans abusing the unemployed, we would still have millions of people with no benefits. The unemployment money is also a real stimulus fund, so it is important on multiple levels.
Obama has a way to go before he can wrestle the "Most disappointing" title away from Clinton. But I'd take either one of them on their worst day over Reagan or either Bush on their best days.
Its quite interesting to note Obama has not commented on Wikileaks or Assange since the second leak.
An extradition and show-trial would most likely result in further loss of face for the US.

wow
Don't sweat him. He's just on a high from the other big wins as of late.

Killin it! Thanks for posting.
Why didn't you make this guy president? 8 hours and counting
Bernie Sanders is a great guy, but in today's US Colonel Sanders has a better shot at the presidency.
What I also wanted to see was some shots of the house.
I'm guessing a lot of eye-rolling, sleeping, textng congressmen.
Or just empty seats.
go bernie go!!!!

And as you know, I'm a dedicated lifetime square.

That we who lived by honest dreams
Defend the bad against the worse.
