All from the thrift store. I'm amazed how the unknown photographer developed a very unique style of composition probably totally by accident. Love these pics.

it is pretty funny how the photographer seemed so interested in the blank wall and chair in the top photo that the people are actually leaning to get into the frame.

And there's this display of blankness in the top right in every picture while the object of interest ist always crammed into the lower left corner. It's brillianty done (hence without purpose).

judging by the consistency of the subject's placement, i'd wager the viewfinder was off

Yep. Probably taken with one of those twin lens type cameras that were often out.

I found some time to scan a few found photographies from the fleamarket (even including rap hands).

I remember this thread to be much longer with found photography posted by other strutters as well. Seems this part has been lost in the changeover.

The handbag on the right (on a yellow oil tin?) is intriguing... it's these details, included in the pic by accident, why these pictures are great imo. They stir the imagination and keep you looking and looking.

The best thing I've found is someone's papers from what appear to be a drug rehabilitation center.

Great thread. There's a look to color photos from a few years in the 60s that I just love. I'm sure there's a technical processing reason for it, but I have no idea what it is.

Three cool cars in that photo, looks to be 66' Wimbeldon White Mustang Coupe on the far left, Pontiac Bonnieville in the middle, and a sweet Mercedes Sedan.
