    Way too much fun.

    Freal.

I am like the odd one out amongst my mates here when it comes to owning an insane motorbike. I guess it's because I have the wife and kids, and they have Ducatis and that BMW RR thing with the crazy eyes. One of my boys is out in SF and got a pristine 851 off a NASA payload specialist. Dude had this thing built like a museum piece, white garage, surgically clean. He's doing a cheeky west coast tour this month before his green card is out.

Other dude has 3 R1's, including the Kenny Roberts edition (like this Russian nutter is on). He has them on trackstands in his dining room. I think the most used one has 30 miles... His fiancee left him not long ago
His runabout is that new BMW RR insane race bike. His mountain bike collection is sick too...

I know if I had one of these I would be dead within a week and they'd be handing me to the wife in a jam jar.

    Win for Cali Moto Hatters:

I have an aftermarket exhaust on my Honda Supermoto. Surprisingly enough, I bought it because it was quieter than the stock exhaust, and I'm respectful of my community. It won't be affected by the bill. Interesting times for the industry.

EPA has been really cracking down on the motorcycle industry from all angles lately. Anyone have feelings on that? Personally, it seems odd to be attacking vehicles that don't take up much space on the road and get 40-140 miles per gallon. Seems like there would be better targets.
