Anyone have an EMU Emax keyboard?

Scored one of these for dirt cheap the other day, and its the shit. I didnt get any preset sound disks with it though, and need to stock up on sounds. Its like an sp1200 keyboard, so so dope.

    Been trying to come across a cheap rack mount version for years. The full version is huge and the last thing I need is another set of keys.

    ... so now you're getting rid of your sp??

    Got rid of mine years ago in order to get the rackmount (which never happened).
    Sucker is so big and you can fry an egg on the back!
    Sounded lovely though.
    Filter was awesome.

    I would like to get the rack mount emax to link up to my sp1200, I sold me s950 years ago for $$$ and I thought i could fine an emax cheap but no luck

    i've got the se rack i picked up from a garage sale for $230.

    i would also like to know the answer to this question. so far been using it to dirty up my samples

    From what I can tell downloading disk images (sounds formatted for it) is a crap-shoot. There's a program called e x m p that should be able to help you put any images you find and download on a floppy.

    If I had just picked one up, I would be doing some heavy research into it's midi sample dump functions.
