Diplo remix from a few years back wasn't bad at all
I have to agree with you. I always thought it was tastefully done.
The slow build in the beginning, which culminates with him bringing the bassline in at :20 is killer. I found the "middle portion" a bit too sparse but overall, as you note, it's tastefully one.
i was not announcing the winner i thought the gangstarr was too obvious but i should have paid my respects anymore? or i can simply takethismattertothebroken.net

Never mind me I was just talking shit. I actually like the Black Milk flip.
Gang Starr kind of owns that record IMO. You can't even make a track with that beat and not immediately sound like Gang Starr. I would be more interested to hear someone really "flip" it - e.g. make it sound different than the orig

Hey Jonny,
Your suggestion for flippin' "California Soul" would be an interesting "Producer 'Strut" battle. I'm sittin' here thinking about going upstairs to the lab and trying it.
Can I just say I find that pop-up that says "BITCHEZ STOP HATiN STUPiD FAGS" to be an intriguing statement given the lack of punctuation. It's like misogynistic + patronizing + anti-homophobic, all in one.
