  • Richard Pryor, George Carlin, and Lenny Bruce to me are the Holy Trinity of what comedians now refer the influence of their act to. But when you say comedian, is it just strictly stand-up?!

    I really didn't dig Emo Phillips when I first heard him, but he kind of grew on me.

    He was good as the bully, Shannon, on the cartoon Home Movies.
