  • Anyway, interested parties could also check the instrumental bridge that occurs toward the end of Toto's "Tale Of A Man."

This Toto tidbit makes this thread both deep and wide.

    @ 4'09" - hey, I'm the public-spirited type.

There are some very freakable parts in this song.

  • The Univesral Something Or Others from right here in Chicago have a fly gospel version, but it's under a different title, a title which escapes me for the moment. (Sorry I'm light on the details; I just ate some coconut-flavored Maria cookies and I'm distracted by the poison-tasting slick at the back of my throat. God, these shits taste like they're laced with Banana Boat and Raid. I'm only gonna eat like one more, and then I'm done-done.)

From the collection of JAMES, borrowed and CD-burned at my house, here is that track, from the Lp We Are The Universal Jubileers - from the South Side of Chicago, 1977 with the song "What Is This".

"What Is This" isn't so much a full cover version of "Low Down" as it is a new song written on top of the "Low Down" riff. It's good stuff!
