Hi.
-Black Fairy (Though I still want a copy as a collectible)
-Sol (1 Track that's only OK)
-47 Times its Own Weight (Rock Fusion, why is this a $500 LP)
-Most Library Records
-G.T's "You Gave it Away" (Only OK bland funk, not worth price)
-Ray Alexander Technique (Muffled and Good, but not worth price)
-Most Hilton Felton LP's (1-trackers. Even the smooth jazz shit of his sells crazy. Why?)
These are just a few. Thoughts? Comments? Additions?
One LP that I need to hear desperately is this.

True. But the first two albums are ill.
Two great tracks on that LP - Watusi Lucy and Get Down - worthy, and very playoutable.
Co sign Libraries too.
I need to re-listen to it again. I was underwhelmed when I heard it.
Both of those cuts are 'play em loud' cuts. Sound great loud and over a quality pa.
BLASPHEMY
That's a LP that will make you cry. Very deep, honest, and emotionaly shit.
Massive co-sign on this. Got the old adrenaline rush when I found a sealed copy. Big let down.
In all honesty, a lot of Americans fall prey to the tastes of Japanese and European collectors. These are the people who put a price hike on these mediocre rares. Just about everything I see on BVJ's site is rare corniness but some johnny come lately might think it's a funk break bukaki because it has a cool black and white cover with a dude in a fela suit and a afro. They see it on eBay and get in the action with a guy from Austria and win it for $225 and find out it's low budget Jon Lucien soul in the hole.
I am saying.
I know, if you're looking for funk, I mean it's not that kind of album... it's a big band with kind of jazzy arrangements... but for funky, how can you go wrong with "Don't You Care"?
Differnt strokes I guess, I WANT that lp badly.
PM me. I have a copy for you.
You don't feel the Watusi or Get down tracks either? They sound good next to Tomorrows People, Malone & Barnes or a couple of Pleasure cuts.
I don't think it's worth dropping cash for but those two tracks make the LP a keeper, I'ld say.

wow, i can't imagine not liking this LP.
eastbound: $$$$
prices
!!!
I would rather listen to the piano moods of Ronnie Aldrich and Blowfly's Rap being played at the same time through a phase pedal.
If you want this one, save yourself some cash and just get an Olatunji lp.
no diss to the east coast, but i can't get into this either...
Errol Parker "My Bag, Vol.3"
$20
Your souless if you're not feeling this...price I could care less about.
K.
P.S. MAssive cosign on the Library thing.
I mean, it's not worth a lot of money... but I'd wager it's good music
One of the biggest letdowns to me:
Black Velvet - Can You Feel It
I also disliked all of Billy Wooten LPs. I resold them quickly!!!
oh wait...
Don Blackmon as well. Not even the "hot track" is a hot track.
