Eighties hip hop was all about the smiles

Less common to have lots of happy hip hoppers but the eighties was a smiley place.

I've shared this theory here before....

But I don't believe there is a single rock LP post 1966 where every member of the band is smiling a happy smile(not a stoned idiot or evil mischevious smile) that is worth a damn musically.
