the record label headed and produced by enoch light which put out concept, psych and turd stuff, obviously recognized for the free design albums.. is there a full discography somewhere online, also, any under the radar recommendations??

  • jeff hests' "tip of the iceberg" has a bit of heat on it but not too too much.

urbie green's "green power" record is also ok and has some neat electronics on it.

here is a discography but i sense it is only partial:

    Mostly well-recorded terds.

If you like Free Design you might want to check The Spectras, and I think Future Sound Shock had some decent moments but I wouldn't swear to it.

  • oh yeah and this one is worth picking up for "stone killer"...

Arnie Lawrence "Look Toward A Dream" is a pretty decent late 60s jazz/rock session.

There's a couple of forgettable vocal tracks on it though.

Acid Archives rate it highly. A mix of "soft pop, folky psych and early prog". They say that most copies have various pressing faults. AA also states the members were formely part of a group called Rock Island and they also released an LP on Project 3 which is described as hard rock with psych, rural and hard rock tinges.

Never heard either, would certainly like to hear Rain.
