    My krontjong collection is not so deep, sorry for that.

    I own AKA's entire catalog. I have 11 of the 13 albums, but the other 2 were tape only, and comps at that. Egon and I are currently in talks with them to do an entire AKA RI, as we've already licensed music from them for this double lp;

    http://www.nowagainrecords.com/forthcomi...k-on-now-again/

    We've spent 3 years on this already because of licensing issues (we've managed to located 18 bands now), but the artwork is in progress and the music is in it's final mastering stages. We've got around 50 pages for the book (I'm not sure how many that will be in print), along with tons of band photo's and information that even contradicts the Indonesia Acid Archives (the KPMI books).

    Anyhow, the Qasidah lp reminds me of an early Erkin Koray lp at times, and the rest is the typical ballad stuff that plagues AKA lp's. Overall it's not bad, but there are better Qasidah lp's from the region.

    Here's an edit I did of a Dutch indonesian Disco funk track (the edit is more or less cutting away the bad parts)
