Anyone been? Anyone know what's up? Worth the trip out from the city?

    I've never been to the store, but he has come up for some
    of the crusty record fairs in MA. He usually has some good
    funk/soul/jazz records, lots of breaks-type-stuff, although
    condition is definitely an issue, in that lots of his stuff is
    trashed, and he doesn't really seem to adjust the prices accordingly.

    I would definitely be down to check out the shop, though. From the flyer
    I got from him, it looks pretty huge.

    He's closing.
    There's a sale this weekend so I strongly suggest going there Saturday or Sunday.
    Everything's $1 to $3 I believe.

    can we get some stories in memoriam about how great it was?

    because i heard all the raves over the years but only got up there 2 years ago and that's all i'll say.

    i was there three years ago and the prices were crazy, he had a beat up copy of Sound Foundation for $70 for example. I was able to grab a couple copies of the Black Bishop - Hard Times 45 though.

    He's come down to the last two DC Record Fairs and has brought nice crates each time. Wonder if he's gonna go e-bay/record show only?
