    I'm surprised this thread is so short.

    I thought they did an incredible job with this. It's amazing how well they pulled it off in such a short amount of time. With the lottery, ticket pickup, security, performances, even getting the programs printed...seemed like everything went so smooth.

    It was a great celebration, but man, I teared up more than a few times: Mariah on the verge of tears when she'd look down at the casket, Usher walking over to the casket, Al Sharpton's comment to Michael's children, Brooke Shield's eulogy...

    What hit me the hardest was Michael's voiceover during Jennifer Hudson's performance of "Will You Be There." Very eerie, yet perfect.

    And of course his daughter's words. Wow.

    His children are very good looking by the way. I hope they keep their heads (and hearts) through all of this.

    (I know, they may not be his biologically, but as far as I know he raised them so they ARE his children.)

    I was thinking the same thing but it doesn't surprise esp w/ people posting nonsense like they were tired of MJ mix tributes etc....I also agree with you sentiment in regards to the tear jerking songs and speeches...
