decent piano/hammond instro version...the flip also has the piano/hammond out front, nice Young/Holt style head nodder...the piano plays the lead melody and the hammond is handling the chords...sounds as if the right hand is on the hammond and left on a piano, or maybe just over dubs, but kind of a unique combo to be the lead voice of the tunes..

SOUL is a UK press from a SS setsale. Rest are local cheapies.

Pretty psyched to find this UK Roky PS in a local spot. Bloody Hammer is the jam.

Some solid power pop singles. BIG shoutout to Cracker/G on Waxidermy, I bought
the Finders single bottom right from his eBay auction, and he threw the Knickers
(which rules) and the Gary Charlson, along with 2 other singles, in for free.
The Hits was a local find.

    More singles:

The Insiders are the early version of The Main Ingredient. Had wanted the Johnny
Kidd and the Pirates for years, finally realized I could just go on eBay UK and
buy one for under $18 shipped to the US, there are a ton on there. Such a great tune.

synthy italian related space rock on casablanca from 1977 has a pretty banging rock break and a moment or two, most of it is awfull though

That record is terrible, but it has one of my favorite androgynous breaks on it. Plus, the name "Punky Meadows" is

Ha, sorry...it's just a joke term my homie and I made up when I happened to pull that Angel record and a bunch of other stuff like it and noted that the artists looked fairly androgynous, but the records had breaks on them. So, androgynous breaks.

Dude I forgot to mention to you that I did really well buying records at the Androgynous breaks spot last time I was up there. But no Androgynous breaks! You guys scooped them all.

ebay pick up, we just purchased a new house, and until we get to know it a bit better and have enough money to buy some more serious art, i have been collecting a few random posters to get block mounted and put up around the place.

Some good finds this week including one holy grail at 4AM this morning -

Crimson is a pink rim Island. Uniroyal LP is from an Argentine Uniroyal distributor but the record is mostly cumbias!

Marvin Gaye is super clean original. Never see this LP even in DC.

and the Grail, born two months early but doing great Edlyn Elizabeth -
