I have a couple of the Pacific Jazz 10", a nice Miles Davis, Modern Jazz Quartet (which I got Milt Jackson to autograph), an OG Dexter Gordon/Wardell Gray 'Chase/Steeplechase' and an Yma Sumac.
Spoken word hit? Hamlet. Olivier? Icey stare of the danish prince who just lost his dad . . . tear me up like ol' yeller.
Punkers from pittsburgh. I loved these guys and saw them all the time at the 31st street pub. Beer showers from the biker dudes during the T.N.T. encores. One night the Queen get nailed in the face with the lead singer's skull maracas -- ever since then I play this record when she is out of the house.
Library find. Duh! But a winner. I actually taped some of these tunes. Jangley . . . and kansasriffic.

On topic, just bought the new Hypnotic Brass 10" and I still listen to that MRR-ADM record.
Wow. That's a nice one.

I gleaned it from an uncle's collection.. I'd love to get the LP Hope played on with Harold Land in the Curtis Counce Group.
I dug your choices. Though the Ella Jenkins is the only one i've heard on 10 inch.
and that Built to Spill 10 in. w/ the banned cover.

He was a great and underrated player. Unfortunately, also one of the biggest dope fiends evar--like swimmin' in the shit.
I never appreciated Ella Jenkins until I actually played the records for my son. luckily I grab every Folkways I see no matter what.
