Free anti virus/ spyware program recommendations??

Anyone have any recommendations for good free anti virus/ spyware programs?? Thanks in advance....

    For free antivirus / spyware etc go for AVG:
    www.free.avg.com

    Though if you pay $28 you can get Kaspersky which in my opinion is the best internet security suite which i've used (Panda/Zone Alarm/Norton/McAfee)

    I used to get about 5 trojans / viruses each year and so far it's managed to keep my installation of Vista completely clean.

    ad-aware by lavasoft is gret for spyware and is free. i don't think it does virus.

    ca security center is pretty good too for virus and spyware. i think it costs money tho. time warner gave it to me for free because my computer was so infected they claimed it was sending thousands of emails a minute somehow. after i installed ca everything ran a lot faster.

    I have for spyware stuff:
    Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    SUPERAntispyware Free Edition
    Spybot Search and Destroy
    Adaware

    I use AVG Free for anti virus

    Cosign on Avast. AVG tends to nag me a lot more for updates and such.

    Thanks this is the one I decided to go with....now if I can figure out this blue screen crash thing......I dont have these problems w/ my mac.

    clamwin is great if you're looking for non-intrusive open source stuff. it's really easy on memory usage too.

    I use AVG on my Win boxes and yes... I have one for macs. I use ClamXav.
