One of my ex work colleagues use to get his sandwiches stolen so he made one with dog food.
I really don't think the issue here is money. Because at that job the minimum you would be making was still around $12-13/hour so it just seems to be some kind of guilty pleasure. And I've also heard of this kind of thing happening at jobs were the minimum salary was well over $15/hour and no cleaning or maintenance people around during the day time.
