Remember when music videos were a cultural event? Remember when MTV actually played videos? Post a great music video. I particularly love this one because you can barely hear the song; that's how into the concept they got.

    i remember when MTV did nothing but show specials of this video making for a year up til its airing which i think was during the halftime of the Super Bowl

    I bet you tried to do Everlong, but since they've disabled embedding on all of them, you went with this. I know, I tried too.

    All the Gondry stuff rules (including Everlong). Love Sugarcube too, that video got me into Yo La Tengo.

    That video reminds me of those amateur video contests MTV ran in its early years. I distinctly remember watching this video win one time.

    no... but I was heavy into Aussie music back in the day. Scientists, Beasts of Bourbon, Bloodloss, Feedtime, King Snake Roost, Louis Tillet and all that stuff...
