Picked this up on my lunch break today. I was going to buy several other records from this seller after being told most were original pressings but this was the only thing he was selling that wasn't a re-issue.
Ray Baretto - Acid Joe Farrell - Upon This Rock , finally i have been looking for this forever, not like its raer or anything but i just never see it and i dont really buy off ebay or anything
Today from flea market 45s The Jones Girls: You gonna make me love somebody else Linda Lewis: Sideway shuffle Labelle: You turn me on Encarnita Polo: Paco paco paco
Just got back from my sister's wedding, home town digs were pretty good: Lenni Sesar is a long time want. Minted up on Bataan and Lebron Bros.
Kako is VG, but at $8 I wasn't complaining. Tommy Olivencia on the left is the same record as "Tru-cu-tu" on Tioly but with 3 more songs, really, really good album. Its Inca 1001, maybe the first record on the Inca label? Seller had doubles of Willie Melendez but wouldn't let me buy the other one, said he sold me this copy because I had found two, if he had only one he wouldn't have sold it, bullshit.
A local spot was dry dry dry so I went through some out of the way boxes and found a minty copy of this in the Russian section for $2. I'm enjoying it as I type, it's a flamethrower!

I bought these boxes of records from an older guy who said they were from a defunct station locally in the 70's. I saw a few interesting things on top and decided to go for it without really inspecting the records carefully. It ended up mostly being soft rock and bad disco tracks, but there was a few goodies to be found. Some hilights:
Pazant Brothers - Toe jam Arnold Blair - Trying to get next to you Village Callers - Hector
Plus i think the hantavirus was in there somewhere.[/list]
