While im trapped on this bus headed down to dc, figure I'd ask some questions I've been meaning to for a while on here. My copy of black ruby looks great but has a slight distortion throughout. Are all copies like that, or was the previous owner running it with an old needle?

I don't hear anything like that with mine; could be a single-time pressing flaw?

Kind if a tinny hiss in a lot of the songs

My copy sounds clean and crisp. Great album.

  • You're talking about "Everbody Saw You", fyi

  • My copy also sounded fine, but I sold it some time ago. I was not feeling it enough to keep it, considering the money I could get for it. I was only feeling two tracks...one of them being "Just Loving You".

But I am feeling this one very much

To make a comparison, I think Alice Clark's album has much more to offer.

    "Just Loving You"
This is definitely the stand-out track. The rest is a little too screamy...

    Just get the 45.
