ebay etiquette question

Hi - Is it OK or not cool to contact a seller to see if s/he still has an item that ended a couple of months ago that didn't have any bids on it? I checked the seller's store and it's not listed. It's a long-shot, but I'd like to try as long as it's not a cheesy move.If it's OK to ask and it's still available, should I offer what it was posted at?Thank You-bassie

Go for it. It's worked for me a couple times in the past. Maybe offer a few extra bucks, depending on how much it was going for.

I've had success w/this as well. I offer to pay the minimum bid, but sometimes they ask for a little more.

I do it a lot. Usually they sell for the starting bid. That's really cool. It makes me so happy.
