    It would be churlish to point out the following:

    The world is not big in terms of the Universe, the Galaxy, or even the Solar system.

    The world is not bright; the earth's average albedos is 30%, where 100% is bright and 0% is dark.

    The world is not round. It is an oblate spheroid.

    So I won't.
