No disrespect to him as a person, but WHY is he moderator? He sells some records, so it's OK for him to spam the board? Anyone here run a business and get hounded by the folks at Yelp almost every day? We do. Not a good look. They want $300 a month to become a sponsored business, and you don't really get anything more than the free publicity you already get.

Since everyone - including me - is crapping on Yelp, I will say that I have also made use of it in a positive way before. In fact, my new favorite brunch spot was discovered by a post on Yelp. So, it has it's uses.
