    we have about 1/2 inch of snow and my work canceled the dayb, 21ouchb, 21portland is a big hot pile of crap when it comes to snowb, 21the drivers are crazy and the whole place acts like they have never seen snow in there lifeb, 21its pretty drasticb, 21i was at safeway buying beer and i overheard the checker sayb, 21"people are buying up bottled water and batteries because of the snow"b, 21what a bunch of crapb, 21oh well i am enjoying my day

    b, 21-ripe, a little mushy is fine, roma or vine tomatoes, quarteredb, 21(it depends on how many people you're feeding and how tomato-y you/they like it, but I would go with about five roma/four medium-sized vine tomatoes per person)b, 21-A LOT of garlic (a whole head at the very least), each clove halved or if small, left wholeb, 21-cremini mushrooms - optional, as many as you like, same rule as garlic for cuttingb, 21-olive oilb, 21-dried rosemaryb, 21-chili flakesb, 21b, 21-toss everything really well, place in casserole/lasagna, etc. dish(es), tomatoes should be one layer only, cut-side upb, 21b, 21-pour any reminaing liquid on topb, 21b, 21-stick in oven uncovered at 350 for about 30 minutes and then 450 until mushy and black at the edges. some of the garlic will be annihilated but no less deliciousb, 21b, 21-the tomatoes (and mushrooms) will give off a lot of liquid, if this burns out, pour more olive oil over everything, but don't drench itb, 21b, 21-toss with your favourite pasta, top with fresh chopped flat-leaf parsley (NEVER the curly stuff) and asiago cheeseb, 21b, 21pour the wine and eat the food!
