my crossfader is starting to bleed after 2 years... I thought these were suppose to last a lifetime... anyone?

    I have a numark mixer, but I put a vestax crossfader on it, its only f cking up now after 4 years...

    Daze is right: The TTM-56 crossfader will last a lifetime.

    The TTM-54 (and 54i) crossfader will bleed eventually. Still a great mixer.

    A friend of mine has this mixer and only after a year and a half all 3 of his faders went out. The replacments are more expensive than most too. $70?
    But Rane is great about other replacements, if you lose a knob or a fader cap they will send you new ones for free.

    My first mixer was the Technics battle one, the crossfader went out after three days, I straight took that shit back to the shop and got my money back.

    Pistol just told me that you can just switch the volume control with the crossfader... is this true?
