i gotta admit that I am feeling thisb, 21it seemed to start off with a really cheesy beat but then the actual beat kicked in and then the vocals and I was pleased.

Well thank God. We have something new from D'Angelo who--without a doubt--is the most talented R & B songwriter/singer of his generation. Raphael Saadiq is a close second. I am really hoping he overcomes his demons and gets back to making music. Seriously, I could listen to D'Angelo read the phonebook.
For R Kelly's next album he will sing his conversations with pizza hut, bill collectors and close friends while watching the bulls game. I like a lot of his stuff. I loved that Flirt record. I think bump 'n grind is classic material. But compared to Voodoo and Brown Sugar, let alone the live sets based on those tours, I don't think it compares. You remind me of my jeep? I mean really. You gonna compare that to Send it On? One Mo Gin? Not even close.

It was groundbreaking when it came out and an instant classic. I've listened to Voopoo maybe twice. Too much of the Roots messing with a good thing.

I get your point about quantity and there is a lot of good R Kelly, and some great R. Kelly.
