Both Reagan and Obama moisten the undergarments of their respective partisans. But it's a little much, if--like me--you are not in on it. That said, the thought of Obama winning on a deep level makes me very proud. I think Obama is going to win and on November 5, it really will be a new day. A more perfect day, a more perfect union. I'm not really where I was in '06 or '04, when I thought Kerry was going to win. I am not reaching for my Bushmills. I'm not giving hippies the stink eye on my way to the mocha hut. I'm not blasting Heart's Crazy on You on my ipod. No this year, I have accepted the reality of the matter. I am wary of all the democrats that will be running the federal government. But hey, FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT. Congratulations America. Good for us. I'm going for a run. I got that new Saadiq record on the ipod. I'm kind of mellow. Maybe he will make weed legal.
