    the trick is how you prepare it... b,121b,121I have never had it from a coffee shop, I guess the process has a few more steps b,121b,121essentially you pour the grounds in the cup, then add hot water... stir and let it settle and enjoy.. expect a mouth full of ground your first couple of times, until you get the hang of it

    font class="post"1b,121b,121every kind I have had has a different flavor then regular coffee, I think they add a different kind of bean to it.. like a coffee bean that is not roasted. b,121b,121it has a distinct flavor

    I make it using a butter melting pot, much like the one in this still-lifeb,121b,121img src="http://www.jamesporterart.com/ArtSL-MeltingButter.jpg"1 b,121b,121this baller Starbucks coffee, ground on turkishb,121b,121img src="http://www.starbucks.com/shop/images/product/san_a.jpg"1b,121b,121w/ some sugar and an assortment of spices. b,121b,121You can find ta standard recipie online and fine tune it to your liking. Or just go to any middle eastern restaurant and pay $2.50. S'all good either way.b,121b,121The funny thing is they don't even really drink this in Turkey, so I've been told. It's all about this super potent black tea drink over there.

    ahh cafe turko.... damn thats the heavy shit right there... My mates missus is great at making it... but the best is finding a chick that can 'read' the turkish coffee.. anyone ever had that shit done?b,121b,121we were recording a demo one weekend and one of the hanger ons was a girl that had turkish cooking and reading skills... she kept making batch after batch and cus we all wanted to keep getting our futures read we're downing it like nuthing...i must have had like 15 cups.... holy sheeeeeeettttttttttt! I was speeding (tweaking?) off my nut something firce...i dont think anyone really slept the whole weekend.... and the demo came out a little 'uptempo' if you know what I mean....b,121b,121not recommended for the weak hearted....

    Has anyone tried Ethiopian coffee? I've had a mere tom thumb sized cup before and was well buzzed for a couple of hours. Tasty too.

    font class="post"1b,121b,121Yeah Ethiopian coffee is and best consumed in small doses. Damn tasty though, I always tend to blend it with a slightly less intense coffee so you still get the taste but slightly less of the jitters.

Years back, there was this spot in Houston where you could get one made with chocolate condensed milk. Not like they added chocolate but actually found chocolate condensed milk somewhere.
