I have a couple releases off the Birthright label from the 70s that have barcodes on the back. b,121Usually I'd call them represses, without question. b,121b,121However, specifically the Shelton Kilby...I'm aware of a reissue on Beegee records. b,121(different logo in the bottom right corner)b,121b,121img src="http://www.soulstrut.com/images/ish/February 2004/odub/5.gif"1b,121b,121The one I have below is on Birthright, just not completely sure if it's an original issue or not.b,121b,121Were there multiple issues of this LP?b,121b,121img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v311/drewn/Shelton.jpg"1

font class="post"1b,121b,121I thought Beegee = Ogee. Mine is on Beegee and it's definitely old'n'moldy.

Huh...sounds like that may be the case.b,121b,121Can anyone else confirm that the Birthright pressing of this LP is a later issue?

    font class="post"1b,121b,121Since the Birthright run also included a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120031441098&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=002" target="_blank"1cassette tapes/a1, I've always guessed that it's a 2nd run.

  • Beegee is original. The other pressing looks newer, no question, it's obvious.
