  • Quote:h,121b,121Craig Moerer just auctioned a record listed in Manship for 250 pounds, and you know what he got for it? US$60.b,121b,121There's no rhyme or reason to this schitt. Bobdukicheads know the deal! b,121b,121h,121
b,121b,121b,121you mean Manship has inflated prices????b,121b,121MIND = BLOWN.

  • i think there's a very simple answer that is eluding us all..b,121b,121they're fusking records, it's a collectibles market, and 9/11 2.0 with added radiation makes them all worth a big fat ZERO.b,121b,121i mean, there's a guy in long island who's auctions i watch. his store lists cool folkwaysish/ocora/spoken word all the time, not that i bite on any of them. dude recently sold 40-50 flattened cereal boxes from the 70s and got like $300-$500 for each. and here we are stressing that some strata east title cracked $400. b,121b,121my point is that when rarity and super finicky collectros come in to play, all sense of rationality is thrown out the window. ebay is just a big reverse casino, so enjoy the ride if you sell.

  • b,121b,121Surprisingly, img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/poor.gif" alt="" 21 but that record sounds boring.

b,121b,121Haha, he got this graemlin back on two different boards,b,121but it's only right, seeing as how he coined the term.

  • b,121b,121h,121b,121b,121It seems to me that often buyers are willing to bid higher on records from sellers with a good reputation and/or sellers that come up with the goods on a regular basis. For instance I have seen Funkyou and Anthony Pearson sell certain records for more than they usually go for.b,121Also it completely depends on who's bidding. If you have two bidders that really want a certain record at a certain moment you may be able to get more for it. b,121b,121h,121b,121b,121b,121This is what people fail to realize. It is about how many people are looking for it and find it on ebay and are willing to dish out the money for a copy. Catalyst LP Perception on MUSE goes for $50 to $60 Mint- I was surprised I sold my old copy for $100 only because the buyer wanted it since they couldn't find it anywhere else.

b,121You sound white--that schitt is fire. Get your ears cleaned. Or maybe you only heard the reissue, in which case you haven't actually heard the record.
